Emory FMD and SCAD Symposium Saturday, March 23, 2024

Join us for the Emory Fibromuscular Dysplasia (FMD) and Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) Symposium on March 23, 2024. 

This program, led by Bryan Wells, MD, will provide an overview of Fibromuscular Dysplasia (FMD) and Spontaneous Coronary Artery.

Dissection (SCAD). It will feature presentations by experts in cardiology, vascular medicine, neurology, psychiatry and more. The event is open to patients and their families, friends, and health care providers.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Friday, May 19th

Friday evening, starting at 6 pm, we will host a reception with live music featuring a Frank Sinatra band. We will also have a raffle which attendees find fun and just love. Hors d’oeuvres will be served. Stay tuned for more details.

Saturday, May 20th

Registration starts at 7 am, and a continental breakfast will be served. The Annual Meeting will start promptly at 8 am and will conclude by 4 pm. Please note that all events take place on the 2nd floor of the Crown Plaza Hotel.

***Please note that the Cleveland Marathon races are on the same weekend. Hotel, transportation, and restaurants should be booked in advance. The hotels in Downtown Cleveland are expected to sell out.

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Getting downtown from the airport takes 25 minutes via a cab, Uber, or Lyft. There is also a train located at the airport that takes you to the central downtown area.

There is valet parking provided for a fee at the hotel. You may find less expensive parking options at garages within walking distance of the hotel.

Cancellation Policy – Cancellations received in writing on or before April 15th will be refunded minus a $25 administration fee. Cancellations received in writing between April 15th, and May 1st will be refunded minus 50% of the registration fee. No refunds will be made after May 1st. Your registration may be transferred.
