May 17th-18th 2013, the Sixth FMDSA Annual Conference

 

Registration and a welcome reception will be held the evening of May 17th and the Conference will start early Saturday morning on May 18th at the Wyndham Hotel, Cleveland Playhouse Square, in Cleveland, OH. Speakers will discuss the latest Fibromuscular Dysplasia patient registry finding's and other related topics. At the end of the meeting there will be a panel discussion where everyone will have the opportunity to ask questions.

FMDSA Patients United "Spring 2012 National/International Fund-raising Event"

We are please to announce the second annual FMD Patient United fund-raising event for FMDSA. This spring, we are once again asking members to become involved and sponsor a fundraiser for FMDSA. It can occur anytime in the months of March, April or May and can be any type of fundraiser you choose. Last year, we raised over $12,000 and had members participate in the states of Ohio, California, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Rhode Island and Virginia. Examples of fundraisers included a raffle for a weekend at a cottage, a “jeans day for FMDSA”, selling our awareness bracelet, and members who participated in the Illinois marathon and managed an awareness booth.

You can plan a large event or a small event. Our goal is to include as many states as possible, and to double the funds raised last year. We have also partnered with Hip Chix Fundraisers (http://www.hipchixfundraisers.com/how-it-works.php) to make fund-raising as easy as possible. FMDSA Fifth Annual Conference May 19th, 2012

May 19Th 2012 for the Fifth FMDSA Annual Meeting to be held at the Wyndham Hotel in Downtown Cleveland. Cleveland Clinic Art Tour

For those of you attending the annual meeting we are offering the art tour again this year.
The Cleveland Clinic Art Tour has been set for 11:00 am on the 18th of May for a 1 1/2 hours. If you are interested in participating please contact Maureen at moewomack@cox.net to get registered, space is limited. It is free and after the tour we will stop at the vascular department and see Dr Gornik and Dr Kim.
